Hi, Ho, Hi, Ho is off to work I go!!!

Two ice days have been great for having time to spend with the kids. But not so good when you are trying to run a business. Since we've been closed the last two days I plan to be in the store tomorrow Thurs. Jan 29. So if your in town and needing to stock up on some scrapbook supplies or you just want to come scrapbook awhile make sure you stop in.
We have a crop scheduled for Friday Evening 1/30. There are a few seats available that I'd love to see filled.

Baby it's Cold Outside!

The schools have shut down in anticipation of the ice storms that seem to be passing us up. Here at the store everything is quiet as I wait for the man in brown to bring me a package. Once he shows up I'm headed home myself. Tomorrow if the storms seem to find us and the kids are out of school again don't plan on the Scrapbook store being open, stay home be safe and scrapbook. I plan on staying home with the kids and playing wii fit. If they are back in school then I'll figure it's safe to be here, come shop.
The Basic Grey card class for Thursday evening has been cancelled. The kits are available to purchase for $17.50. It includes instructions and materials (including envelopes) for 8 cards.
We have a crop scheduled for Friday night that still has some available seating. I would love to see these seats fill up. Sooooo, put us in your plans and come scrapbook!!!

Happy NEW YEAR!!!

The Christmas decorations are down, the house is returning to normal (well as normal as can be). A NEW Year has begun. There are new resolutions and goals to accomplish.
I'm looking forward to a new year at The Scrapbook Nook as we celebrate 10 years of scrapbooking in Decatur, TX. New classes and crops are scheduled to help you accomplish your scrapbooking goals for 2009. As you set your scrapbooking goals for 2009 may I encourage you not to set a goal to get caught up, but set smaller more managable goals. Find a holiday or an event and accomplish mini albums or set a number of layouts for each of them. Before you know it you'll have albums filled with the memories of your life. Just make sure that you are Scrapbooking. Scrapbooking is one of the most rewarding hobbies I've been involved in, I would love to see us go another 10 years.
