There are several NEW classes that have been added to our October Calendar.
Beginning Thurs. Oct 1, ($5) 6-8pm For Silhouette Owners (or for those that think they want one) This class is to answer your cutting questions and show you just what kind of fun things that you can create with your Silhouette. (offered again Monday Oct. 12 if the 1st doesn't work for you.)
Thurs. Oct. 8, ($10) 6-8pm A Stitch in Time Learn how basic stitching can enhance your page layouts and cards. You will complete a single page layout and card. (offered again Mon. Oct. 26. if the 8th doesn't work for you.)
Project sample below: Final project may vary.

Thurs. Oct. 22, ($20.) 6-8pm Basic Grey Card Class Complete 8 handmade cards (envelopes included) using the NEW Basic Grey line Indian Summer.

Remember we need 5 participants for each class to make, be sure to sign up early.
These classes are in addition to our regular Monthly Memories ($15.) Tues. Oct. 6, at 5:30 or 7pm and our Basic Grey Page of the Month (All About Me) ($25).Tues. Oct. 20, at 6pm.

Now, I know everyone LOVES and weekend of scrapbooking especially if it is for a good cause. Fri. Oct. 16, and Sat. Oct. 17 is our 2nd Annual SCRAP PINK WEEKEND. Proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the cure.
Scrapbook the entire weekend for $45. If the whole weekend doesn't work for you scrap Fri. evening 6-midnight for just $20. or scrapbook sat. 10:30am-11pm for $35.
Be sure to sign up early spaces tend to go quickly. Crop fee for Scrap Pink will be due on Sat. Oct. 3.

June theme: A life changing moment. Class is Tues. June 16, at 6pm.
Photos you will need: one 6"X 7 3/4", three 3" square pics. Optional supplies: distress ink. I used old paper it called for vintage photo. Ric-rac or scalloped scissors, paper piercer and circle cutter.

Here it is our May POTM Basic Grey All About Me Class. This months theme is "when I was a kid". Class will be held on Tue. May 19, at 6pm. Photo's needed are four 4"x3", one 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" and one 8"x 5 1/2" (measurements are given WxH). Black and white photos are used in the preview sample but as you can see there is a lot of color in this layout. Any pictures color or black and white, will work.
Optional tools: Lg or sm scallop scissors, 1 1/2" circle punch, 3" circle punch, paper piercer, black journaling pen, white opaque journaling pen and a 1/4" hole punch.

After two full days of looking at great scrapbooking stuff and taking a couple of classes, it's good to be home. It will be great to be back in the store tomorrow and gettin' back to work. We're only 5 days away from National Scrapbook Day. Looking forward to a fun day filled with friends and scrapbooking this saturday. Scrapbook Convention Here I Come!!!

I am planning to attend the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Houston the weekend of April. 24 & 25 yipee!!! For that reason the Store will be closed Friday April 24, and the crop for that evening has been cancelled. I do have someone to fill in Satuday April 25, so it will be open that day. She has graciously offered to hold a crop on that saturday also. If you'd like to crop on Sat. April 25, please sign up early. If there is not enough interest generated. The store will only be opened regular hours that day.

SPRING BREAK!!!

Last week the kids got a spring break from school. In April I will be taking a break from the store. The week of April 13. Instead of being closed on Mon. & Thurs. I will be closed on Tues. & Wed. too. From Mon. April 13 thru Thurs. April 16 the store will be closed. Please make a note in your calendar on your palm pilot or in your phone. I don't want to miss anyone but due to the slow down in business it will not be to my advantage to have someone open the store on those days. It will take a little planning on your part to remember that I will not be here on those days. SHOP the weekend before April 10 & 11, or the weekend after April 17 & 18 and get 15% off your entire purchase including clearance. Come back on Tues. April 21, and for one day only enjoy a TRIPLE punch day. Get three punches on your card for every $10. of reg. priced merchandise.
